QUEST VOICES 1.0
By Von Djangos

Description:
ElevenAI generated voices for quest-giving NPCs in Morrowind.

Currently adds around 180 original lines of voiced dialogue.

These are mostly just around custom greetings around introducing themselves or asking on the status of your current quest.

There's some fun easter eggs like Therana dialogue lines or custom idles for some NPCs too.

Currently covers in full:
Cauis Cosades
Neminda
Eydis Fire-Eye
Hrundi
Percius Mercius
Ranis Athrys
Edwinna Elbert
Gentleman Jim Stacey
Raven Omayn
Arara Uvulas
Felisa Ulessen

What won't be covered:
Dark Elf males, Khajiit, Argonians, Orcs.

Unfortunately their distinctive voice patterns are cleaned or 'ironed out' by the AI, which mistakes them for artifacts or background noise.

What will be covered:
About 12 further quest giving NPCs. I've used over 100,000 paid characters in this current version, so I'll wait till my monthly sub replenishes.

FAQ:

Aren't AI-generated voices robotic/static?

They are over longer dialogue lines - when you put multiple phrases together. For short barks or a couple of sentances, with enough 'rerolls' and enough variance in the emotional output, you can get some stunning results.

Any tips for using ElevenAI?

1. When loading in your 50 samples, try to use the longest samples possible. Arrange the list by filesize, and be creative. Training the Breton Male voice will work better using the Chargen class questions than the standard greetings.

2. Keep the sentances short - the longer you try and run a dialogue block, the more likely it will either sound mad (too much tonal variety) or robotic (too monotone)

3. Pull the stability slider down to something like 20-25%, and get ready to reroll around 20 times to get a strong take. Pretend you're a film direction, and say 'I think we got it!' when you nail a take.

These results are scarily good. Is AI going to take my job?

Probably, but until that happens, let's enjoy a whole new phase of voice-acted modding in Morrowind!

Everyone at the UESP pages. Without their work on writing out the dialogue and quest stage logic, this would have been a nightmare.
